Check-out is 11:00 a.m.
Please note that the checkout time is
strictly observed. If the cleaning crew is inhibited in any way
from beginning work on the day of your departure because the camp
is still occupied, a portion of your deposit may be
withheld.
Your rental fee includes
maid service upon departure, so you need not do any general
cleaning or launder the linens before you leave. We do ask that you
wash any kitchen ware and put it away. Also, if you are lucky
enough to have fresh fish to clean, please rinse the entire area
used with fresh water (including the floor and all outside
areas).
Please dispose of any
perishables you may have bought and food you have prepared. These
should be put into trash bags and placed in the outside cans. This
includes any remains of the aforementioned fish.
NOTE: It is against the law to throw them on any
open or public area and may result in a
fine!
Regular cleaning
is included in the rental rate. Compensation for any extraordinary
cleaning required for excessive indoor or outdoor trash not picked
up, including fish remains, or significant damage will be deducted
from your $500 damage/cleaning
deposit.
It is very
important that you make sure all appliances are turned off. If you
could also check to see that no lights are left on and all of the
doors and windows are locked, we would very much appreciate
it.
The table umbrellas for use by the pool are
available to our guests, but we do not leave them out because they
are so easily broken in strong winds. So guests are responsible for
removing the umbrellas from the pool area before departure and
returning them to their storage area. Should any umbrellas be
broken, the cost of a new one will be deducted from the damage
deposit.
PETS
We are so sorry not to
be able to allow pets. But the sand fleas can be vicious, some of
our guests have allergies and we’d have to raise the rent in order
to pay our cleaning service to remove all evidence of their stay.
If pets are found on the premises, all occupants will be asked to
vacate the property and a portion of your rental fee will be
withheld. We’d really hate to have to do this, so please don’t make
it necessary for us to do so.
LAGNIAPPE
You will often see
common household items in our properties, such as condiments, dry
goods or detergent. These have either been left by us or previous
guests. Please feel free to make use of anything that you
need.
